In the away game of the Swedish SHL between Djurgården and Rögle BK there was a moment of terror: the Austrian ice hockey talent Gregor Biber was checked hard by two opponents in the third third and initially remained motionless on the ice.
Rescue workers finally had to transport the 19-year-old from the ice on a stretcher. When leaving the arena, he was able to give at least a first sign of the all -clear with a “thumbs up”.
In the late evening, Rögle BK confirmed that beaver is doing well according to the circumstances. In terms of sport, the incident Rögle did not get out of the concept: the team sat down 5: 3 through and celebrated an important away win.
