STATEMENTS

Neo Eisbär Ivan Korecky: “I’m really looking forward to the coming season and being part of the Zeller Eisbären. The new opportunity means a lot to me and I’m highly motivated to give everything for the club. I can’t wait for the season to start and for me to get to know the coaches, teammates and fans.”

Eisbären Managing Director Patrick Schwarz: “We are very happy that we were able to convince Ivan of our path. In order to be successful again, many building blocks are needed. These include, among other things, players who represent the values of the Zeller Eisbären. Ivan is a player who blocks shots, plays physically and has a good defensive game. At over 1.90 m, he has guard measurements that are difficult to find at this level in Austria. His fitness values have always been top in the last few years – he He was always one of the best in the team and he is a top character about whom we have consistently received very good feedback.

Ivan was at the top of our wish list from the start and has exactly these qualities. He is also in his prime for ice hockey and still has big goals. This means he fits in perfectly with our approach and will give our defense additional stability.”
