VSV managing director Martin Winkler and sports director Herbert Hohenberger will travel to Canada during the team break to intensively prepare for the next season – this is reported by the “Kronen Zeitung”.
The plan is to visit six games in different leagues in order to observe possible new signings from North America live. The aim is to bring fresh blood to Villach and advance squad planning at an early stage.
“When you see players live, it’s completely different,” emphasizes Hohenberger to the “Krone”. The trip is intended to help make well-founded decisions and put the VSV on a more stable sporting footing again.
