Rumor: National team player is probably changing within the DEL!

The Italian national team defender Peter Spornberger is apparently facing a change within the German Ice Hockey League. According to “Eisblog”, the 27-year-old could be one of them next season Iserlohn Roosters change.

Spornberger is currently at ERC Ingolstadt under contract, but was only used sporadically in the current season. In total, the defender played 23 DEL games in which he received two assists.

Before his engagement in Ingolstadt, the South Tyrolean was also in the ICE Hockey League active. There he ran for the HC Bolzano where he was temporarily part of the extended defensive team and also gained international experience. In 50 games he scored 16 points for the Foxes.

The native of Bolzano is also part of the Italian national team. Official confirmation of the possible move to Iserlohn is currently pending.
