KAC goalkeeper Sebastian Dahm does not think of quitting at the age of 38. Before today’s Champions Hockey League duel against his ex-club Eisbären Berlin (8:20 p.m.), the Dane made it clear to the “Kronen Zeitung”: “I want to be in goal for three years. Physical fitness and motivation are more important than age.”
Dahm moved from Berlin to Klagenfurt in 2020, where he feels comfortable with his family and once again intended: “I dream of becoming a master again with the KAC.” It doesn’t bother him that a second keeper could receive more and more use with Florian Vorauer: “A top club needs two good goalies. If Florian plays better.”
In addition to Dahm, Youngster Finn van EE can also look forward to: The 20-year-old is wearing the top scorer jersey after his goal against Sparta Prague.
