HC Falkensteiner Pustertal secured a 3-2 home win against league leaders EC-KAC. Henry Bowlby scored the decisive goal with just under three minutes left. It was the South Tyroleans’ fourth win in a row, while the KAC’s five-game streak ended. In an entertaining game, Pustertal always had the upper hand. Luca Zanatta made it 1-0 in the 17th minute, Mathias From equalized in the 27th minute. In the 44th minute, Mathias Mantinger gave the home team the lead again, but Matt Fraser equalized in the 49th minute to make it 2-2. Henry Bowlby took the third lead three minutes before the end and thus secured Pustertal’s first win in the fourth duel of the season against the KAC. In the table, Pustertal is now fifth, 15 points ahead of seventh-placed Fehérvár, while leader KAC remains four points ahead of second-placed Graz.
