The Pioneers Vorarlberg defeated the EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV 5:4 in front of their home crowd and celebrated their fifth win of the season.
The Pioneers Vorarlberg delivered a spectacular performance and celebrated a 5:4 win against EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV. After an even first third with one goal each, the bottom team put in a strong middle third: Despite being inferior in terms of play, the Vorarlbergers presented themselves as ice-cold and made it 4-1. In the final period they even increased the lead to 5:1 before the Eagles started to catch up. Villach reduced the score to 4:5 with 90 seconds left, but the turnaround was no longer successful. For the Vorarlbergers it was only their third win after regular playing time this season. However, due to Innsbruck’s victory, the Pioneers remain bottom of the table.
