Patrick Kane makes NHL history!

At the age of 37, the American Patrick Kane is already in his 19th NHL season. Last night the striker broke a very special record.

In the duel with the Washington Capitals, Kane recorded an assist, overtaking none other than Mike Modano and is now the American-born crack who was able to score the most points in the best league in the world. After 1,342 games this season, Kane has a strong 1,375 points.

He recorded his first point in his second NHL game, on October 6, 2007. Remarkably, he broke the record wearing the Red Wings, who were then the opponents of the Chicago Blackhawks. Kane, the 1st overall pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, played 1,161 games for the Blackhawks, 19 for the New York Rangers and 161 for the Detroit Red Wings. Kane was crowned Stanley Cup Champion three times, won gold at the U18 World Championships, silver at the Olympic Games and was awarded several NHL awards.
