Officially: ROK Ticar changes within the ICEHL!

The HC Falkensteiner Puster Valley decides its squad planning 2025/26. With today’s transfer there are 22 field players and 2 goalies in the fixed squad of the wolves. The last – but certainly not unimportant – puzzle part, the sporting management of the HCP relies on an old acquaintance. Rok Ticar uses his playful class 2025/26 for the HC Falkensteiner Pustertal!

The 36-year-old Slovenian has had an international career and performed at every level-most recently in the ICE Hockey League in Klagenfurt (2020-23), Vienna (2024) and Graz (2025).

Tičar comes from the steel city of Jesenice, learned, among others, in Sweden and played with the home club HK Jesenice in the Ebel at the time. From there, the then 22-year-old made it into the DEL. At the end of the “European trip” of the classic center forward, 5 years of KHL, 4 years DEL (Cologne, Krefeld) and 1 year of SHL (Oskarshamm). At the age of 30, the left -wing shooter returned to the league and has since achieved 227 scorer points in 274 games for KAC, Vienna and Graz.

Tičar played two Olympics (2014, 2018) and 12 World Championships for his home country. Now the number 42 at the HC Falkensteiner Pustertal belongs to him.
