All World Cup appearances of the Austrian national ice hockey teams in the game year 2025/2026. This season has two absolute seasonal highlights: Austria’s women’s ice hockey national team will play for the first time in the top division in 2026. Austria’s national team national team will be at the World Cup in Switzerland in May 2026.
Austria’s U20 men’s ice hockey national team will open the World Cup season in Bled (SLO) at the U20 World Cup Division IA. The schedule for the tournament on the beautiful Bleder Lake is still open.
Austria’s U18 women’s ice hockey national team is in use at the U18 WM Division IB in the Polish Katowice at the beginning of January.
Austria’s paraishopic hockey national team is again involved in Pool C in April/May 2026 – exactly the date and the place are announced.
Austria’s U18 men’s ice hockey national team will be playing in the U18 World Cup Division I, Group B in Tallinn (Estonia) from the end of April for the return to the U18 WM Division I, Group A.
Austria’s women’s ice hockey national team will play in April 2026 after the historical promotion to the top division at the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship. The location, date and schedule are only announced.
Austria’s men’s ice hockey national team will then be used in Group A in Zurich at the end of the season from May 15, 2026 at the 2026 IIHF ICE Hockey World Championship. Head Coach Roger Bader wants to build in his home country with the team to the sensational World Cup 2025, in which eighth place after reaching the quarter-finals and thus the best World Cup result since 1994.
