The VSV is deep in crisis. Now the fans are calling for the resignation of managing director Winkler and sports director Hohenberger.
After seven defeats from the last eight games, there is definitely no Christmas peace. The fans seem to have identified the culprits for the VSV misery: the pressure on sports director Herbert Hohenberger and managing director Martin Winkler is increasing. The reason for this is because they fired the successful coach Tray Tuomie.
Now fans are calling for their resignation online. The “Krone” says that the two “seem completely overwhelmed, are aloof, rule with stubbornness – and have driven the VSV car into the wall in a sporty manner in just a few months.”
