Noah Rod will not play this season

The 28 -year -old Neuchâtel striker was operated on his left shoulder last week. “The chances of seeing him on the ice next season are very high,” writes the GSHC.

Rod had seriously injured himself on February 13, 2024 by hitting the band during a match in Ajoie. He had lost the use of his left arm, his shoulder having dislodged and the nerves having been cut, recalls Geneva-Servette in his press release.

After long months of care and rehabilitation, Noah Rod is again able to hold a cane after his nerves pushed back. He was able to be treated for his dismantled shoulder, and was successfully operated in order to stabilize his joint. The GSHC hopes to be able to align its captain to start the year 2025/26.
