No fixed contract: 153-time ICEHL scorer back on the market!

He played in the domestic league for three years, most recently playing in Denmark. But after just nine appearances, his last club ended their cooperation.

HC Bozen brought Dante Hannoun to Europe in 2020, and a year later he initially moved to Vipiteno in the AlpsHL. There he got used to European conditions and scored 49 points in 40 appearances.

HC Pustertal signed the Italian Canadian for the 2021/22 season and he not only became a regular player, but also an Italian national striker. 144 appearances for the Wolves resulted in 26 goals and 76 assists.

In 2024, Dante Hannoun went to Slovakia, where he collected 15 goals and 23 assists in 53 games for Spisska Nova Ves. This season saw an intra-league move to HC Presov. After just one assist out of nine appearances, it was over and the 27-year-old moved to Denmark, where he joined the Odense Bulldogs. There he received a tryout contract that expired yesterday and was not renewed.

Despite five goals and two assists, those responsible in Denmark decided against a permanent commitment and justified this as follows: “The 27-year-old striker was given the chance to recommend himself for a possible contract extension and to demonstrate his skills on and off the ice. After a comprehensive sporting evaluation, the club has decided to end the cooperation with the expiring contract. We would like to thank Dante for his commitment and commitment in the Odense jersey and wish him all the best for his future career.”

So the striker is back on the market and possibly again an issue for an ICEHL representative?
