An interesting name is back on the transfer market:
Angelo Miceli
will not continue his path at the Danish club Sønderjyske and is therefore available for the coming season. The Italian-Canadian brings a lot of experience with him – especially from the
ICE Hockey League.
Strong numbers recently in Denmark
In the past 2025/26 season, Miceli was again in good form. For Sønderjyske, the attacker recorded 41 points (14 goals, 27 assists) in 45 games, making him one of the more offensive players on the team. However, there is no contract extension.
ICEHL as a sporting home
However, the 32-year-old spent his most formative time in the ICEHL. Especially at
HC Bolzano Miceli was a consistent offensive force for years.
In total, he played almost 400 games in the league (including EBEL times) with 243 scorer points. This makes him one of the reliable scorers who has produced consistently over the years.
Lots of experience from Europe and North America
Miceli was born in Montreal and has both Canadian and Italian citizenship. His career began in the QMJHL before making the leap to Europe via the AHL and ECHL.
In addition to his time in Bolzano, he also played for Asiago and Sheffield, among others. He also gained international experience with the Italian national team, including world championships.
