Marco Rossi and the Vancouver Canucks had several reasons to celebrate last night. The Austro crack delivered a “multi-point game” and Vancouver was able to celebrate a home win.
Last night Marco Rossi played his 16th game of the season for his Canadian employer. For the second time in the Canucks uniform, he delivered a “multi-point game”. A week ago he scored twice against Carolina and even tripled against the Nashville Predators. Rossi assisted on the goals from Brock Boeser and Filip Hronek and scored the 2:3 himself. In the end, Vancouver celebrated a 4:3 success after a penalty shootout. Rossi was also voted “1st star of the game” thanks to a strong performance.

“It was a really big bounce back. It’s a big belief in our group. It feels really good.”

For the 24-year-old from Feldkirchen, it was points 6, 7 and 8 in the Canadian jersey – this season he has a total of 21 points in 33 games. The Nucks’ “homestand” runs until March 26th, with a duel against the Seattle Kraken next – a local derby, so to speak.
