NHL: Superstar Sidney Crosby breaks impressive Penguins record!

Sidney Crosby wrote another chapter in his legendary career on Wednesday night. The 38-year-old Canadian scored a goal in his Pittsburgh Penguins’ clear 5-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks, overtaking club icon Mario Lemieux as the best scorer in the franchise’s history.

With a total of 1,896 points (700 goals, 1,196 assists), Crosby is just ahead of Lemieux, who ended his career with 1,895 points (766 goals, 1,129 assists). This means that Crosby, who has worn the Penguins jersey since 2005, is finally crowned the most successful player in the history of the traditional club.
