The Minnesota Wild host the New York Rangers tonight. Marco Rossi will not be in the squad there due to an injury.
The Minnesota Wild’s start to the season was not very satisfactory. Rossi and Co. were only able to win two out of six games, and most recently there were three defeats in a row. Points in Madison Square Garden would be important, but the Wild will compete with a weakened substitute.
Marco Rossi, who had five points in six games, was injured on Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers when he blocked a shot with his right skate. There was no exact information yet about the extent of the injury.
This also breaks the Vorarlberg native’s “iron man streak”. The Austro export was able to play 173 games for the Wild on episode.
