NHL: Marco Kasper with first goal of the season – Rossi also scores!

Last night there was a sense of success for the two Austro cracks in the National Hockey League. Marco Kasper scored his first goal, Marco Rossi added to his points account.

After the 1:5 opening defeat against Montreal, the Detroit Red Wings were able to get their first win of the season against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team from the US state of Michigan won 6-3 against the Canadians. Marco Kasper scored the goal to make it 1:2. Remarkable: Kasper, along with Patrick Kane and Dylan Larkin, had the most shots on goal (4). The Wings continues on the night of Monday to Tuesday. Then it’s against the Leafs again, but in the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

The “home opener” of the Minnesota Wild was less pleasing, as they suffered a 4:7 defeat against the Columbus Blue Jackets in front of their home crowd. Marco Rossi was able to increase his points account with an assist in the 4:6 win by Kirill Kaprizov and now has three scorer points in two games. The Wild will next host the LA Kings before playing in Dallas the following day.
