The Vienna Capitals are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year-with a special highlight: two of the greatest Czech ice hockey players ever are expected in Vienna in December. As the “ORF” reports, goalkeeper icon Jaromir Jagr and ex-world-class goalie Dominik Hasek promised their coming to a legend game.
On December 13th, CAPS legends earned in the Vienna ice sports center of Kagran will meet a Czech team that will be filled with numerous stars. On the Austrian side there are crowds such as Bernhard Starkbaum, Phil Lakos, Rafael Rotter, Jonathan Ferland, Benoit Gratton and Bob Wren on the ice.
The opponents come with sounding names – including those players who won Olympic Gold for the Czech Republic in 1998 and celebrated world championships several times. This means that fans can look forward to a real ice hockey festival.
