Marco Rossi’s future in the National Hockey League (NHL) has been clarified. The Austro Crack will storm wildly for Minnesota in the coming years.

The contract saga now has an end. Marco Rossi and Minnesota Wild have agreed on further cooperation. The Vorarlberger was equipped with a 3-year contract, which brings him five million US dollars a year. Both sides have moved somewhat from their original starting positions and have now reached a consensus.

The 23-year-old goes into his second full season with the team from the Twin-Cities. In the past season, Rossi was the second best scorer of the game with 60 points in 82 games. Rossi is now under contract by 2028/29, after which he will become a “restricted free agent” (according to Puckpedia). A year later, he would then become a “unestested free agent” and be available on the free market. Minnesota with Rossi, Matt Boldy, Joel Eriksson EK, Marcus Foligno, Yakov Trenin, Brock Faber, Jonas Brodin and Jacob Middleton under contract for at least three years. Many eyes will now focus on Kirill Kaprizov, whose working paper expires after the coming season.
