In the basic round, Knott once again confirmed his value for the team. With 49 points from 45 games, he delivered consistently and was often the difference maker in tight games. In particular, his ability to score important goals and put teammates in the spotlight made him indispensable for Linz.
His role as assistant captain (“A”) also underlines his importance within the team – both in terms of sport and in the dressing room. What will happen next for the striker is still unclear.
