Long-time Black Wings Linz striker is moving to the ECHL!

After four years in Austria, Brodi Stuart returns to North America. The 25-year-old Canadian, who started his professional career with the Steel Wings Linz in 2021, is joining the Tulsa Oilers in the ECHL.

Stuart came to Europe after a break due to injury and quickly found his form in Linz. In his first AlpsHL season he collected an impressive 41 points in 39 games before being promoted to the Black Wings Linz team. The striker played a total of 105 games there and contributed 27 scorer points (14 goals, 13 assists).

They parted ways in the summer, after which Stuart first completed a tryout with the AHL team the Bakersfield Condors – the farm team of the Edmonton Oilers. Now he is continuing his career with the Tulsa Oilers in the ECHL.
