The Ravensburg Towerstars created planning security early on: Ex-ICEHL striker Mark Rassell will remain with the DEL2 club in the 2026/2027 season. The 28-year-old Canadian has extended his contract early for another year.
Rassell impressively justifies his commitment in the current season. The Calgary-born attacker has long since matured into a key figure in the Towerstars’ offensive game. With 27 goals, he currently leads the DEL2 top scorers list and also contributed 15 assists.
Rassell already knew how to impress in Europe in the preseason: At the TIWAG Innsbruck Haien he was one of the few consistent bright spots and scored 24 goals in 44 games, making him the Tyroleans’ top scorer and one of the most noticeable scorers in the ICEHL.
