The 28-year-old Canadian Nicholas Welsh switched to the Inn last offseason, but he ended the season at another club. Now the Defender is drawn to the island.
Nicholas Welsh first moved to Europe in the summer of 2020 and played six games for HC Banska Bystrica in the 2020/21 season. This was followed by engagements at the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, Jyp Jyväskylä and the Augsburg Panther.
At the end of June 2024, Welsh signed “Die Haie” at HC Innsbruck. For the Tyrolean, the legal cap played 37 games and came to nine templates. However, he did not end the season with the sharks, but at the Finnish Club Kookoo. But he will not continue there either.
Today it became known that Nicholas Welsh changes to the Eihl and will appear for Manchester Storm in the upcoming season. There he meets Brady Gilmour on a former crack from the Pioneers Vorarlberg.
