Important contract extension at EV Landshut: Trevor Gooch will remain with the ice skating club beyond the current season – and even for two more seasons. The 31-year-old US striker signed a contract until the summer of 2028.
With 53 points in the main round (24 goals/29 assists), Gooch shone as the team’s second-best scorer in his first year in Landshut. With his spectacular style of play, speed, tricks and a few magic goals, he immediately became an absolute crowd favorite at Gutenbergweg and – together with Jesse Koskenkorva – also leads the internal plus/minus rating with a value of +13.
“Extending Trevor was a high priority for us in squad planning,” emphasizes sporting director Max Brandl. “That’s why I’m very happy that a player with these qualities has decided to wear the EVL jersey for the next two years. He gives our team that certain something extra!”
The man with the number 72 is also extremely positive about his future at Gutenbergweg because he values the history of the sport in Landshut: “This season has shown me,” says Trevor Gooch, “what a rich history the EVL embodies and how important ice hockey is for this city and its people. I’m really looking forward to the next two years in Landshut – and I want to do everything I can for strong playoffs in the current season!”
