After the bitter defeat on Wednesday against Innsbruck, the EC-KAC showed itself to be solid again in the home game against the Pioneers Vorarlberg. The guests initially took the lead through Cole Gallant, but David Waschnig equalized less than a minute later. Clemens Unterweger gave the KAC a 2-1 lead in the first third before Daniel Woger equalized again shortly after the start of the second period. The Red Jackets then took complete control. They made it 4:2 in the middle section and clearly won 6:2 in the end.
