KAC loses the Champions Hockey League start!

The EC-KAC started the new Champions Hockey League season with a home defeat. In the end, the red jackets had to give up 1: 4 against Sparta Prague.

The EC-KAC opened its Chl campaign with a home game against the traditional Czech club Sparta Prague. The guests showed their international experience right from the start and ultimately won the game – despite a strong performance by the Klagenfurter – 4-1.

In the fourth minute of the game, the praises managed to lead early. After a duel won on the blue line of the Klagenfurter, a striker of the guests completed a single -hand hand. In the middle section, Sparta increased outnumbered to 2: 0 before a hit worth seeing in the slot caused the third goal of the guests.

The KAC was still able to write to the final phase: After a precise stretch pass by Jesper Jensen Aabo, Finn van Ee used his place on the left and pushed the pad under the pads of the goalkeeper. Klagenfurt took the goalkeeper off the ice two minutes before the end, but Sparta made the final score of 1: 4 with an Empty-Net goal.
