The EC KAC has to worry about one of its most important offensive players before the upcoming league game on Sunday against HC Pustertal. Nick Petersen was missing from the Red Jackets’ Friday training session due to injury.
However, coach Kirk Furey gave the “Kronen Zeitung” a slight all-clear: “It may well be that he will be there against Pustertal on Sunday. But we have to take it as it is anyway and make the best of it,” said the head coach.
In addition to Petersen, Jan Mursak (injured) and Kempe and Fraser (both ill) were also not on the ice – their appearance on Sunday is also questionable. However, there was positive news from Jordan Murray, who, according to “Kronen Zeitung”, was able to complete the entire training session after his injury break and is about to return to the lineup.
