KAC head coach Furey after eighth October win: “We did our job”

The EC-KAC clearly won its home game against HC Innsbruck 5-1 on Friday evening and thus scored points – with eight wins – in each of its nine league games in October.

The EC-KAC consolidated fourth place in the table with a comfortable 5-1 home win against HC Innsbruck and won every third. Head coach Kirk Furey was therefore satisfied:

“We talked before the game today that this game and this weekend as a whole is about doing the job. We did that, the start was good, the willingness was there from the first change. When you have so much possession, there is a tendency to act too complicated and playful, which happened to us today at times. But still, in my opinion, it was a good performance from our team. We are very happy with this month, October was very successful.”
