The KSV Kangaroos celebrate their tenth anniversary on August 23 and 24 with a comprehensive supporting program. The highlight is the guest performance of the EC KAC against the Starbulls Rosenheim.
In the ten years since its existence, the KSV Kangarus celebrated many successes. In addition to the four championship titles in the Styrian elite league, the Öahl title 2018/19 and the ÖEL title in the 2023/24 season were the highlights that were celebrated frenetically. It is now also celebrated, namely when the kangaroos load for the ten -year anniversary festival.
Extensive supporting program
On Saturday, August 23, the KSV Juniors’ anniversary tournament starts in the morning (11:00 a.m.). From 1:00 p.m., KSV partner Radio Grün-Weiss will broadcast live from the festival area before the first highlight is waiting at 4:00 p.m. The KSV cracks duel with the Atse Graz in a back and second leg for the Gösser trophy. Saturday will end with the band “Oid & Jung” with musical Austropop entertainment before continuing on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. with a morning pint with the Böhler factory chapel.
EC KAC vs. Starbulls Rosenheim as a highlight
At 12:00 p.m. the second leg of the KSV cracks against the Atse Graz will take place before the highlight on the program is on the program at 4:00 p.m.: the duel of the EC KAC with the Starbulls Rosenheim. A very special game for the red jackets because it will be the last test before the Chl start. Tickets for Sunday cost € 15 and are available here. KSV squad is presented
In the course of the celebrations, the kangaroos will also present their squad, with which they will start the Öel season this year. President Franz Gärtner: “We have been with our potential newcomers in the Tryout since the beginning of August and the mood is great. Now we will train intensively for two weeks, then our anniversary festival is already a great program that we have put together with the highlight of the EC KAC against the Starbulls Rosenheim. Gösser Trophy duel, we are already looking forward to it and hope that we can welcome many fans at our anniversary. ”
