KAC fright seconds in defeat: Defense chief injured on the face!

Bitter scene in the 1: 5 of the KAC against Bolzano: Clemens Unterweger got a puck directly in the face shortly before the end and had to bleed from the ice.

“I was sewn with a few stitches – but luckily there is nothing wild,” said the defense chief later in conversation with the “Kronen Zeitung”. The injury was another low point of an overall weak appearance. “It was too little of everyone. Bolzano forced us the game with his clever way and pulled the energy full of energy,” said KAC-Defender Unterweger.

Coach Kirk Furey now calls for a clear reaction before the home game against Graz: “We have to find our identity. If we appear with speed, we are strong-if not, punish you the top teams.”
