KAC extends its winning streak at the Vienna Capitals!

24 hours after the derby win against VSV, the KAC celebrated a 3-1 win at the Vienna Capitlas. It was the fifth success en suite for the red jackets.

The EC-KAC remains the confident table leader after a 3-1 win over the Vienna Capitals. However, the Caps held strong against it for long stretches. The early opening goal was also a debut goal in the win2day ICE Hockey League: The 17-year-old Klagenfurt native Johannes Dobrovolny reacted quickest after the Viennese failed to break free and scored to make it 1-0. In the middle section, the Klagenfurt team presented themselves much more efficiently than the Viennese team and secured the preliminary decision with two goals. League top goalgetter Mathias From and Simeon Schwinger were responsible for the hits. Simon Bourque was able to reduce the deficit shortly after the score was 3-0, but the KAC did not allow any further goals in the final period. The Klagenfurt team are still six points ahead of their closest rivals from Graz in the table, but have already played one more game.
