“We started today’s game very well and had everything under control from the start. We gave us the momentum with the first power play, but overall we were pretty confident at five-on-five. After a good second third, Linz, who are fighting for a place in the playoffs, gave us a push in the final period, but we responded with stability. We fought hard on the defensive side of the puck today and it paid off, and Sebastian Dahm was always there to make saves when we needed him. A good team performance after which our team really deserved the break. We also need this break, take a breather and then start the detailed work the week after next to prepare for the remaining five games in the regular season.”
