The EC-KAC recorded a start-to-finish victory on their own ice on Wednesday evening, and the fourth duel of the season with Ferencvárosi TC also went to Klagenfurt with a score of 5:2. KAC coach Furey has mixed feelings about the game.

“That was a difficult game. We knew that Ferncváros played very compactly in the neutral zone and that we would therefore not be able to create as much speed through the middle third. The start was good with the early goal, but overall it was a game in which not so much happened. The last third was not satisfactory, in this one only Florian Vorauer played well, he once again held strong. It is completely clear that you cannot be very good in every game, we accept that today. Nevertheless, those were three very important points for us. Many top teams missed something against Budapest, we took the full twelve points from them, that’s absolutely positive, but an important victory that is now behind us, we are already looking forward to the home game against Linz on Sunday.
