Post Game Comment from Head Coach Kirk Furey:
“We never found our rhythm from the first faceoff, but we went into the first break goalless. We had a few good chances in the second third, but we lacked a bit of energy there, as we did throughout the evening. That’s understandable at the end of this first, very long and demanding phase of the season. We’re obviously not happy with the result, but our focus isn’t so much on one game, but on our overall development – and that has been positive over the last few weeks. The boys have now very much earned the break, so we’re loading it up Batteries on and then we come back to the game with a new mindset.”
