Is 749-time ICEHL crack leaving his team? – Daniel Woger before an emotional farewell

At the Pioneers Vorarlberg’s last home game against HCB Südtirol on March 1st, a very special chapter in ICEHL history could come to an end. As sports director Michael Lampert announced to the “Vorarlberger Nachrichten”, veteran Daniel Woger will return to the ice again and make a special statement.

There are many indications that the 38-year-old striker could announce his departure from professional ice hockey or from the Pioneers Vorarlberg. Woger was injured for much of the current season and only made 22 appearances. Now everything seems to be boiling down to an emotional farewell in front of the home crowd.

749 games in the ICEHL

With an impressive 749 league games, Woger is one of the most experienced players in the league. Over the course of his career, the Vorarlberg native played for HC Innsbruck, the Graz99ers, the Black Wings Linz, the Dornbirner EC and most recently for the Pioneers Vorarlberg.
