VSV not only had to accept a defeat in the game against the Graz99ers, but also had to cope with two injured players.
According to the “Kronen Zeitung”, defender Alex Wall received a check in the starting third and then even had to be taken to the hospital. Head coach Tray Tuomie stated in the post-game press conference: “It doesn’t look good.”
Adam Helewka also suffered an injury – he had to leave the ice early after a stick hit on his finger by Korbinian Holzer, but later returned. In the post-game interview he confirmed a finger injury. It is currently unclear whether Wall and Helewka will be able to play in tomorrow’s game against Ferencváros Budapest.
