IIHF World Cup 2026: Get your day tickets for the Austria games now!

From May 15th to 31st, 2026, the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship will take place in Zurich and Friborg, an ice hockey festival that will attract fans from all over the world. Austria will play all of its group games in Zurich and will face Great Britain, Hungary, Latvia, hosts Switzerland, Germany, Finland and world champions USA from Saturday, May 16, 2026. Day tickets for the 2026 World Cup are available now.

From May 15th to 31st, 2026, the 16 best national teams in the world will fight for the world championship title in 64 games. The venues are the modern arenas in Zurich and Friborg, which offer perfect conditions for thrilling duels on the ice and an exciting atmosphere in the stands and in the official fan zones.

The game schedule has been finalized and day tickets are now available for all game days in Zurich and Friborg. The IIHF’s official ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup in Switzerland have begun. Matchday packages are available from 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025 at 2026.iihfworlds.com. The individual tickets that are still available will go on sale in a second phase in February 2026.
