Four days ago, VSV striker Nick Hutchison suffered serious facial injuries when a puck hit him in the face during training. Now he is hoping for a comeback in today’s game against the Graz99ers.
He lost three teeth and needed almost 50 stitches. Nevertheless, he was lucky because neither a broken jaw nor a concussion were diagnosed.
Recently he was only able to eat liquids and had to take a break, but now there could be a lightning comeback. As the “Kronen Zeitung” reports, he is dreaming of a comeback today, perhaps in the Villacher Adler’s last game of the season.
Coach Pierre Allard would be happy if the striker were available: “It would be great if he could run in. It also speaks for Nick’s character.” But Allard makes it clear: “The doctors have to give their okay on game day.”
It will therefore be decided in the short term whether the American will make a lightning comeback.
