VSV returned to winning ways with a clear 1:4 away win against Fehervar. After the bitter home defeat on Friday, the Villach team were able to achieve their third win from their last four games and thus confirm their strong form after the international break!
EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV celebrated a confident 4-1 away win at Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and returned to the top 6. The hosts started better and took the lead through Janos Hari in the first third. In the middle third, however, VSV turned the game around impressively: Guus van Nes equalized after a one-two with the boards. John Hughes and Kevin Hancock then finally put Villach on the winning path. In the final period, van Nes celebrated his second goal of the evening and made the final score. With this success, VSV pushed EC Red Bull Salzburg out of the top 6 again.
