The EC IDM heat pumps VSV is pleased to announce that the official team presentation for the coming season 2025/26 on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., will take place as part of the Harley Davidson Fest at Faaker See.
The traditional idea of the fighting team in the course of Villach’s church day will be replaced by a new, attractive location this year. With the relocation to the Faaker See, the association offers partners, sponsors, media representatives and fans a special platform to welcome the team in an exciting environment.
The event focuses on the presentation of the entire professional team and the team of supervisors for the 2025/26 season. In addition, the opportunity to communicate the sporting goals and ambitions of the association and to underline the close connection between the EC IDM heat pumps VSV and its regional and international partner landscape.
In advance, the eagles announced their captains for the upcoming season. Alexander Rauchwald will act again as the captain. The 32-year-old Villacher has been wearing the “C” on his chest since 2023. So far, Rauchwald has had 488 season games and 232 points. Philipp Lindner and John Hughes will appear as his assistants. Lindner stands with the drowned city before his fifth season, Hughes goes to his 17th (!) Season in the ICE at the age of 37. His previous balance sheet: 782 season games and a whopping 929 points.
