The Graz99ers have extended the contract with defender Paul Reiner early. The 19-year-old signed a new working paper for two more years and is therefore under contract with the ICE Hockey League club until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Reiner comes from the Graz99ers’ own offspring and was trained at the Styrian Ice Hockey Academy. He made his debut in the ICE Hockey League at the age of 16 and has continued to develop over the past few years. The defender has now played 60 league games for the Graz99ers.
In the current season, Reiner has established himself as an integral part of the team, particularly in the past few weeks. Despite his height of 1.71 meters, he is one of the smallest players in the league, but was able to secure ice time through consistent performances. He recently scored his first goal in the ICE Hockey League in the away game in Pustertal.
