ICEHL transfer: Does Andreas Kristler have to leave the Black Wings Linz?

Andreas Kristler will leave the Black Wings Linz – this is reported by “LAOLA”. The 35-year-old striker has been an important part of the Linz team over the last few years.

He began his professional career at Villacher SV, where he also made his first appearances in the highest Austrian league. In 2011 Kristler moved to Red Bull Salzburg. With Salzburg he won the Austrian championship title twice and finally established himself as a reliable two-way striker in the league.

Kristler has been under contract with the Black Wings Linz since 2017 and shaped the Austrian core of the team for many years. He played several hundred games for Linz and was one of the most experienced players in the squad.

In total, Kristler has played over 850 games with almost 350 scorer points in his career in the ICE Hockey League or EBEL. There are also numerous appearances for the Austrian national team. How his career will continue is still unclear.
