On Sunday, the EC-KAC will receive the Hungarian record champions Ferencvárosi TC from Budapest for a competition in the Carinthian capital for the first time in almost 48 years. The first windscreen in this encounter takes place at 4:00 p.m., the game is broadcast as usual in the live stream to Sporteurope.tv.
The starting situation
After two home defeats, the EC-KAC returned to the winning road on Friday: In the away game at the Black Wings Linz, the Klagenfurters made up for a gap twice and ultimately won 3-2 through Game Winning Goal in minute 59. In the Win2day Ice Hockey League, the red jackets show a balanced interim balance with three wins and three defeats, which currently means eight. Under the areas with a need for increasing in red and white game, the power play is currently emerging: only three goals resulted from 19 overpayment options in the six games, none of the last eight occasions were converted into a score and on average the EC-KAC needs 11:35 minutes to write to Numerian advantage.
In the three Ligaheim games so far in the still young season, the record champion struggled with his exploitation of opportunities: Because only 8.8 percent of the shots on goal landed in the mesh, the red jackets only scored seven goals – 2.33 per game. The comparison with the average of the 66 encounters on its own ice in the past two seasons (3.95) underlines the still missing KAC fireplace in front of their own audience.
Personnel
The EC-KAC must definitely do without Fabian Hochegger and Jordan Murray (both with upper body injuries out, but already back in light egg training). David Maier will also be missing, in which further investigations at the beginning of the coming week will determine the complete extent of his lower body injury resulting from a foul in the game against Linz.
Tobias Sablattnig, Maximilian Preiml and Jan Muršak, had to leave the team training on Saturday in the game on Friday, also Tobias Sablattnig, the trio’s operations against Ferencváros will therefore only be decided on matchday.
