ICEHL: The HC Innsbruck wants to “play quickly and hard” against the HC Pustertal

Win2day Ice Hockey League starts the new season. The sharks receive the wolves from the Puster Valley at the start.

It was intensive preparation, from today it is going to be done. The regular season in Win2day Ice Hockey League begins. The excitement is also increasing at HC Tiwag Innsbruck Headcoach Ryan Kinasewich: “I’m really looking forward to today. We had a great pre-season, the team came together well. I am confident.”

At the start, the sharks have the wolves from the Pustertal in front of their chest. The South Tyroleans upgraded again in summer, so it should be a real yardstick. For Kinasewich, however, the focus applies to our own team: “We want to bring our quick game onto the ice, deal with the opponent for 60 minutes. Then we will see what comes out.” Captain Jan Lattner specifies the route for today: “We have to play quickly and hard, because they will do that. The boys can hardly wait, we are ready!”

The face of the HC Puster Valley changed somewhat in summer, seven new legionnaires alone were fetched. The former league competitor Asiago also joined proven scorers such as Nick Saracino and Alex Ierullo. With Jason Jaspers, the head coach remained the same. In preparation, the wolves showed very good appearances. For example, the HC Plzen from the Czech Republic was defeated 2-0, and there was also a success against the DEL Club Ingolstadt. Legal against Straubing and the EV Landshut, among other things, against which the sharks also have a test game defeat.

Minimal goal at HC Puster Valley is likely to reach the top 6 this season. Accordingly, the wolves will want to present themselves at the start.
