Eight games are on the program in the Win2day Ice Hockey League on Friday and Saturday, six of them on Friday.
In addition to the highly expected packing derby between the EC-KAC and the Moser Medical Graz99ers, the EC IDM heat pumps VSV are guest at the Steinbach Black Wings Linz. Leader Olimpija Ljubljana and the Vienna Capitals travel to the west to HC Tiwag Innsbruck or the Pioneers Vorarlberg. Home games are waiting for the two South Tyrolean clubs.
EC-KAC-Moser Medical Graz99ers
The red jackets play their third home game, hold after four games in two wins and want to make up for the 1: 5 home defeat against Bolzano. So far, Klagenfurt has consistently had more puck ownership and degrees, but has to do without Fabian Hochegger and Jordan Murray; Filip Simovic moves into Lineup after a strong Chl appearance. Graz travels with tailwind: 4-0 in Pustertal, 9: 4 against Feirvár and a tight OT defeat against Ljubljana-offensive with high slot values and lots of disc control. Historically, the balance sheet clearly speaks for the KAC, which could celebrate his 100th victory against Graz on Friday.
Steinbach Black Wings Linz – EC IDM heat pumps VSV
Linz returns home after two away games and rely on Brian Lebler, Graham Knott and newcomer Travis Barron; The power play works strongly early, but the Penalty Killing is still looking for its consistency. Personnel, among other things, are missing Luis Lindner and Ken Ograjenšek. After three defeats, Villach comes in a series with reparation mentality, is 4 points from four games and wants to increase the efficiency in the power play. The most recent balance promises tension: 5: 5 in the last ten direct duels, but four of the last five went to the Black Wings.
HC Tiwag Innsbruck – Olimpija Ljubljana
Table leader Ljubljana is still unbeaten as one of two teams and impresses with 25: 7 goals. Outstanding: Defender TJ Brennan as a top goal scorer (6) and Nicolai Meyer as scorer leader (10 points). Innsbruck ranks in the table cellar after four games, conceded most of the goal and recently lost in Budapest. For the sharks, it is important to act more stable and to sharpen the special teams.
Pioneers Vorarlberg – Vienna Capitals
After four defeats, the Pioneers continued to wait for the first points, recently struggled out and were looking for the first power play hit; There are currently no injuries, but individual players are a bit struck. The capital comes with five points, an OT victory against FTC and the 7: 6 spectacle against Linz, but most recently 1: 3 against Salzburg. Nelson Nogier and Simon Bourque lead internally with four points, captain Linden Vey returns; Jérémy Grégoire, Felix Koschek and Senna Peeters are still missing.
HCB South Tyrol Alperia-FTC-Telekom
After six away points, Bolzano comes with a wide breast on the home ice and invites you to the University & Youth Night; The complete squad is ready for use. League newcomer FTC-Telekom celebrated the first ICE victory on Sunday (6-2 against Innsbruck). The Budapesters are based on National Goalie Balizs, coach Timo Saarikoski and well -known names such as Brady Shaw and Tyler Coulter on the offensive.
HC Falkensteiner Pustertal – EC Red Bull Salzburg
Pustertal started with an 8-1 in Innsbruck and a 3-0 in Villach Stark, but lost the only home game against Graz to date. Master Salzburg travels with a decimated squad, but still has quality and experience – especially Michael Raffl (8 points in 4 games). The Red Bulls lead the still young overall record against the wolves, but most recently had to stretch in Bruneck.
Saturday:
HC Tiwag Innsbruck – Vienna Capitals
Back-to-back for both teams: Innsbruck rely on Steven Owre (4 points), added the squad with Sebastian Benker and Max Coatta. Vienna clearly won all four duels in the previous season (26: 5 goals) and wants to refine the west tour in a point.
HC Falkensteiner Pustertal-FTC-Telekom
Premiere between the two clubs. Budapest replaces Asiago in the ICE and has reinforced itself with Scandinavian routine and North American scoring power-in the focus of Rasmus Bengtsson, Alexander Ytterell, Brady Shaw, Topi Rönni and ex-Wolf Tyler Coulter. Pustertal wants to find the home strength back and contain the offensive quality of the Hungarians.
