The EC-KAC is pleased to be able to confirm the commitment of striker Mario Kempe (36). The long -time Swedish international, who can be used on the offensive both in the center and on the wing, signed (as already reported this morning) with the Austrian record champions a contract for the time being until the end of the coming season 2025/26.
Mario Kempe once went through his final training years at the traditional club Modo in Örnsköldsvik and in St. John’s in Canada, in Sweden’s highest league he made his debut in the Rögle BK jersey in September 2008. His professional career has led him to the best leagues in Europe and in the meantime to the NHL: In the period from October 2017 to March 2019, the attacker played 70 games for the Arizona Coyotes in the strongest league in the world.
