ICEHL: The Black Wings Linz start test run for the new Wings-United sector

With the first home game of ongoing preparation, the first test run for the new Wings-United sector will begin next Tuesday. This area is available to the official fan clubs in sectors D and E. The Steinbach Black Wings Linz ask all fans for mutual consideration and evaluate the newly created fan project in close coordination with the groups involved.

The first home game of the new season is just around the corner – and with it the new organization of the fan clubs. In order to further improve the already unique mood in the hall, a long -term project is being implemented: For all drummer and committed singers, a common area is created in the standing space sectors D and E. The section, which is clearly marked in the future, on the left side of the north stand – up to the yellow staircase at the level of the ice area – is exclusively available to fan clubs and their members. In this way, tuned chants should be better coordinated and carried into the entire hall. The exact layout is carried out independently by the fan clubs.

The Steinbach Black Wings Linz fully support this project. At the same time, those responsible ask all fans to carry the new structure with mutual respect. The implementation is continuously analyzed together with the fan club speakers, whereby individual concerns are also discussed.

First come, first served!

Another regulation will be introduced with the new area for the fan clubs: barriers or reservations of standing room outside the fan club sector before the official admission to Linz AG Eisarena will be prohibited in the future. The background is repeated conflicts last season, in which day ticket owners no longer found places when they arrived. Scars, barrier tapes or other markings that were not coordinated with the office are removed by the folder staff at the door of the door without exception. From the official admission, all fans can mark their own place as usual. First come, first served!

For questions and feedback, the two fan supervisors Daniel Wolkerstorfer and Alexander Wurm are available on site or by email to fanbleuer@blackwings.at.

New admission procedure

The admission was also revised for the new season and more clearly structured in the future. Owners of a season ticket receive their own entrance area on the east side of Linz AG Eisarena towards the railway bridge. The doors on the left metal staircase open 90 minutes before the game starts to the catering sector. The admission to the hall takes place 60 minutes before the face-off.

The main and family entrance is primarily intended for day ticket owners. Here, too, the foyer opens 90 minutes before the start of the game, access to the hall is possible 45 minutes before the start. The staircase via the stairs will be reserved exclusively to the VIP guests in the future.
