A week before the start of the new season of the Win2day Ice Hockey League, several teams completed their last hard tests. Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and the HC Pustertal were able to recharge their confidence.
In the last preparatory game, Fehérvár turned a 1-3 deficit against Banská Bystrica and demonstrated comeback qualities. In a dramatic final phase, the Hungarians fought their way back into the game before Josel Messner set the decisive goal in overtime and ensured a successful end to the preseason.
In the South Tyrol derby between Puster Valley and the Broncos it was hot: Despite superiority, the wolves were in the meantime, but opened in the final third. Bowlby finally became a match winner when he scored the 3-2 winning goal just ten seconds before the final siren-a real derby finish.
