ICEHL team upgrades and signs Finnish striker!

FTC Budapest committed to a lot of Finnish routine for the rest of the season. Striker Joose Antonen signed with the Hungarians today.

Joose Antonen has already completed twelve seasons in the Finnish top league, making almost 450 appearances for eight different teams. The winger scored 76 goals and prepared 136 more.

He celebrated his greatest success with the Finnish U18 national team, with whom he won bronze at the 2013 World Cup. He also played three times for the Finnish senior national team and scored one goal. So far, he has only been active outside of his homeland once, when he failed to score in 13 games for the Fischtown Pinguins last season, but prepared five goals.

He started this season at HPK and played 22 games with an output of three goals and seven assists. Now he is going abroad for the second time and he signed with Ferencváros Budapest in the ICEHL, where he is currently committed until the end of the season.
